Oslo Sporveier introduced vintage trams in public service in 1994 as part of the celebration of the centenary of electric trams in Oslo. The picture shows car no 96 (with no 220) at Majorstuen in the summer of 1997. This was the last summer of vintage trams in public service, after a controversial decision banned them in 1998.
